Dyer's Apothecary Farm

A natural dye farm run by Damien and Benjamin on the unceded and ancestral Musqueam lands in Richmond, BC, Dyer's Apothecary Farm is now in its 3rd year. The farm has all sorts of wonderful flowers and plants to satisfy your natural dye needs. The two are working towards starting their own textile mill alongside their dye farm business.
Join them at one of our Demo Tables to try your hand at a natural dye process. This activity will be offered by donation with proceeds being donated to charity.
lil so&so handmades
lil so&so offers handmade bags of all sizes, related accessories, book sleeves & organizers, as well as zero waste sewn items like cat toys, lanyards and wallets. The fabrics are custom printed and very expressive. Chantelle incorporates a lot of queer and neurodiversity themes into their work.
All items are handmade in their East Vancouver home studio. Chantelle’s first love is knitting and this shows in the project bags which are made with knitter's in mind.

If you are looking for colorful, intricate one of a kind stitch markers, buttons or a desk monster to keep you company, you have to check out Perching Clay Art. Handmade in Vancouver by Jessica, these pieces are created with polymer clay without the involvement of paint or ink.

This East Vancouver local yarn store is definitely “Not your Mama’s yarn store!” Baaad Anna’s celebrates and encourages fibre community growth and connection in multiple ways. Baaad Rabbit Fibre Arts Co
Do you love all things colour? Well so does Baaad Rabbits. Located in New Westminster this shop opened its doors in 2022. Their staff is always ready to help inspire you in your creative endeavors. Everlea Yarns
Wether you are a seasoned weaver or new to the art, Everlea Yarn will quickly become a favourite. Here you will find lovingly made plant dyed yarns and handcraft handheld tapestry looms made with maple & walnut woods. Janna’s weaving kits come with a handcrafted loom accompanied by a beautiful selection of plant-dyed yarns. Street Cat Designs
Street Cat Designs is an eco friendly jewelry line created in Squamish. Every piece is crafted with longevity, artistry, uniqueness, and mindfulness. Pam uses a repertoire of skills she learned from her grandmother when she was as young as 6 years old. She knits, crochets, wraps, forms and coils varying gauges of sterling silver and 14k gold filled wire, which she embellishes with gemstones sourced from all over the world, as well as freshwater pearls and select crystals.

Caliope's Fibre
Based in Maple Ridge, Caliope's Fibre offers handmade supplies for Fibre artists.
From hand carded batts, to handmade knitting notions and her new “Build a Bag” sets, Shawna has been supplying us with wonderful items for over a decade. While you visit her table, check out the cool row counters she makes. Her triple blended batts are designed for consistency and sure to please.
Yoriko Oki
Yoriko Oki is a talented fibre artist based in Vancouver, BC, specializing in hand-dyed yarns, weaving, and teaching. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Yoriko's passion for textiles began at a young age.
She joined the Fibre Art Studio, a textile studio/gallery shop, on Granville Island in 2004. Visit her and you will find a wide range of yarn bases from sparkle to donegal to kid mohair.

is run by Jasra, a mother of two who originally started crafting handmade books under the name Bat Binding. The business has since evolved, and Jasra now creates a variety of items, including laser-engraved crafting tools and unique handmade books. Cottonwood Creations offers a range of products, such as looms, fibers, project books, and various crafting tools making your crafting journey easier in style.
Round The Garden
While sewing her high quality children's clothing, Jeannette can almost see kids running around a magical garden living their best lives in their best play clothes. Her love of sewing started at age 8 when she got her first sewing machine. Based in Langley, BC, Jeannette stays true to the things that are important for her brand, using quality fabrics that are organic or tested for chemicals, that her entire stock is made by her, and that they are made to last.
M&H Ice Dye
Making their market debut at XOXO Fibre, Vancouver-based M&H Ice Dye was born in the creative kitchen of Heather and Mike. Heather, a film industry costumer and textile artist, collaborates with Mike, a lighting technician in theatre and film, and a budding artist. Together, they love the ice dye process for its beautifully surprising results, producing one-of-a-kind pieces. Sea to Sky Designs
Sea to Sky Designs is a yarn company based in Surrey, BC, offering lush, hand-dyed yarns ideal for various fibre crafts. Founded and operated by Michelle, a dedicated maker inspired by her family's rich crafting heritage, Sea to Sky Designs emphasizes high-quality, detailed products made with care. Michelle's passion for creating allows her to produce unique, vibrant yarns and knitwear, available in various bases like sock, DK, worsted, bulky, and super bulky, and sometimes specialty yarns such as mohair. It’s her bulky yarns in vibrant colours that she is best know for. Come check them out!
Bins Bags and Baskets
Having been sewing and crafting all her life, Janet came across surplus upholstery fabric in fall 2019 and began to sew bags/purses/pouches. The pandemic led her to find online community and furthered her passion of bag making. Being a knitter and crocheting led her to start making project bags and baskets. Janet, loves to play with fabric, generally trying to include some material that uses surplus/deadstock/reused clothing into each item.
Okanagan Dye Works
Having started as a fibre dyer even before she was a knitter, Nikki has been dying yarn for 13 years. Vernon based, and previously known as Nickelbee Art Studio, Nikki is well know for her colourful yarns, rovings and Teeswater locks. She uses bright bold colours that are inspired by the beautiful Okanagan Valley. Nikki also teaches felting classes. Check out her website not only for yarn and rovings but also for felting supplies and an array of handmade goods. Oh and while there, peek at all the fun names she gives her colorways.
Puzzle Tree Yarns
Becca started Puzzle Tree Yarns in 2018 to address her colour challenges. She noticed that mini-skein options were limited and buying multiple large skeins for multicolor projects was costly. Beginning with dyeing mini skeins in her kitchen, her offerings now include skeins of various sizes and fibres in a constantly evolving palette of rainbow colors. Additionally, Becca is a screenwriter. Her latest TV movie, "A Love Yarn," is a romantic comedy set in New Zealand, featuring yarn and sheep, available on CityTV and various streaming services. This movie is a must-watch for Hallmark-movie lovers and fibre artists alike.
Felt By Jane
Felt by Jane emerged from an inner calling to create with fibre, igniting a passion Jane wants to share. She sources ethically sourced fiber, prioritizing local options. Her soap bars are made from premium natural bases, scented with essential oils and fragrances, with unscented options available.
Felt by Jane offers handmade heat-resistant trivets made from wet-felted wool, with a durable layer of wool felt combined with rayon and wood fibers. Jane's inventory is always evolving, and she welcomes custom creation inquiries.

Colecraft1111 is an Indigenous woman-owned business. Donna initially started with the creation of one-of-a-kind reiki-infused healing jewelry but has since expanded to offer a wide range of healing and metaphysical services. With a home Studio in West Vancouver, BC, Donna integrates her deep spiritual connection into all aspects of her work.
The services offered by Colecraft1111 include Usui Holy Fire III Reiki (from beginner to Master Teacher levels), crystal energy healing, cord-cutting, energy clearing, and angel guide services. Donna also facilitates Sister Circles, empowering women through guided sessions that promote healing and community.
In addition to her services, Donna continues to craft unique, Reiki-infused jewelry using ethically sourced materials like crystals, stones, and metals that enhance the healing properties of the pieces. Be on the lookout for fibre jewelry in her collection soon.

C Yarn Hut is a charming yarn shop located in Vancouver, BC, specializing in knitting, crocheting, and amigurumi. Founded by Clara Leung, the shop offers a delightful array of handmade crochet items, from adorable animals to intricate plants. Sahm, the creative force behind Kussen and Kiss, has always had a passion for drawing, painting, and fiber arts, even though knitting and sewing aren't her main crafts. About five years ago, she discovered Punch Needle, a technique that perfectly blends her love for design and craft. Through Punch Needle, Sahm "paints" with yarn, creating beautiful and practical objects from the unique fabrics she designs.
Sahm is also a dedicated teacher, finding great joy in sharing the Punch Needle technique with others. She is continually inspired by the 'aha' moments when her students master the craft and enter a state of creative flow. Through Kussen and Kiss, Sahm continues to explore the endless possibilities of Punch Needle, offering both her art and expertise to the world.

So Arts CA is a family-run business that began last year out of a shared passion for handmade crochet creations. Located in British Columbia, Canada, Sophie and family offers a delightful range of handmade items, including crocheted flowers, superheroes, bags and purses, stuffed animals, keychains, anime figures, plant pots, and charming flower lamps. Each product is crafted with love and care, reflecting the creativity and dedication of the family behind the brand. Yarnboler is the brainchild of Janet, a creative artisan known for her expertly crafted faux fur pompoms. New to the scene, CopperSpoon Dye Co. is run by Claire and Tihson, a creative duo from Victoria, BC, who blend their artistic passions into a vibrant yarn-dyeing business. Drawing inspiration from the stunning landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, their hand-dyed yarns feature dynamic colorways ranging from striking neons to earthy tones. With over 15 years of knitting experience, Claire brings her deep love for colour into every skein, while Tihson, a lifelong artist with an Art Noir photography background, views yarn as a unique canvas for exploring pure color. Their yarns, available in worsted, fingering, and bulky weights, are meticulously crafted, offering one-of-a-kind palettes perfect for special projects. Founded by Angel in late May, Sew Much Happy began as a heartfelt project making matching bags for close friends after a memorable weekend together. Encouraged by those around her, Angel decided to craft more bags to sell, first at the Entwined Festival in Langford and then at Knit City Calgary, where her vibrant and joyful designs were warmly received.
Located in Fort Langley, BC, Angel personally handcrafts each bag, drawing praise for her eye-catching combinations of colors and prints. With a commitment to sustainability, she often uses thrifted materials or fabric remnants from local quilt shops, embracing a “waste not, want not” approach. Inspired by the consistent encouragement of friends and family, Angel’s journey with Sew Much Happy has been a whirlwind of creativity and success, bringing joy through her carefully crafted designs.
Raynfall Crafts

Claire, the creator behind Raynfall Crafts, is an Irish crochet and knitting artist and instructor based in Vancouver, BC. Originally from Ireland, Claire learned her craft from her mother, godmother, and grandmother, dedicating her work to honoring their legacy.
With a passion for accessibility, Claire specializes in teaching knitting and crochet tailored for individuals with mobility and disability challenges. She volunteers her time teaching these skills at Marpole Neighbourhood House and also runs a free fiber library to share resources within her community. In addition to offering classes, Claire has crochet patterns available for purchase on Etsy.
Holli Yeoh
Holli Yeoh’s lifelong passion for knitting began in childhood and evolved through a fine arts degree in textiles and jewelry, leading to a 20-year design career. Her patterns are known for their casually elegant style, innovative techniques, and clear instructions, offering knitters both a rewarding experience and beautiful results.
Holli values fine craftsmanship, teaching skills that empower knitters to take pride in their work while accommodating different styles and preferences. Wild West Dyes
WildWestDye is dedicated to bringing naturally dyed, renewable color goodness into your home, inspiring you to bring your beautiful handmade creations to life. Founded and run by Rebecca, a native Brit now living in New Westminster, British Columbia, after spending eight vibrant years in Sri Lanka, WildWestDye reflects her passion for color and sustainable crafting.
Each yarn cake is shipped ready to use, so you can start your projects as soon as it arrives.
At WildWestDye, only classical natural dye ingredients are used. Timeless dyes like Madder, Weld, and Cochineal, which have been used for centuries, are combined with modern layered dyeing techniques to create yarns with stunning color variation, depth, and warmth. Rebecca’s commitment to using traditional methods with a contemporary twist ensures that every skein from WildWestDye is a piece of art, rich with history and vibrancy.
IndiArts Collective
IndiArts Collective, founded by Valentina, a Colombian who has called Canada home since 2008, is a Vancouver-based social enterprise dedicated to celebrating and supporting South American Indigenous artisans. The brand showcases the incredible skills and cultural heritage of these communities through handmade bags, accessories, and jewelry. Each item tells a story, crafted in collaboration with artisans from Colombia, Peru, and Mexico. IndiArts Collective’s mission is to empower and uplift these artisans while sharing their unique designs with the world.​
Knitting Knerds Yarn Rescue
Knitting Knerds, founded by Zoe, Jane, and Terri, is like a secondhand bookstore—but for yarn! Based in the Tri-Cities and Metro Vancouver, they specialize in rescuing yarn and notions (like needles and patterns) that would otherwise go unloved or end up in landfills. Whether it’s unfinished COVID projects, baby wool from years ago, or inherited collections from grandmothers, Knitting Knerds gives yarn a new life.
They upcycle donated or sourced yarn, clean it, and offer it at affordable prices to beginner, eco-conscious, and thrifty crafters. Their goal is to make yarn accessible and sustainable. You can even swap your unwanted items for store credit, trading yarn you don’t need for something you love!
Knitting Knerds also sell kits for beginners using donated yarn and patterns, as well as handmade knitted and crocheted items created from the rescued yarn. They are passionate about supporting both new and seasoned crafters, helping them save money and the planet.

Honey Canada is the creative outlet of Yuki, a talented maker originally from Osaka, Japan, who moved to liv in Vancouver, BC in 1999. Yuki has been passionate about arts and crafts from a young age, and through Honey Canada, she shares her love for handmade natural wool creations. Each piece reflects her joy in the process, from concept to final product. Honey Canada offers unique wool crafts through its Etsy store and welcomes custom orders, allowing customers to collaborate on one-of-a-kind creations.​
Free Little Fibre Libraries
Free fibre libraries are like little free book libraries, but instead of books, they’re filled with crafting treasures! Operating on a “take what you need, gift what you can” system, these boxes offer yarn, fibre, and other textile goodies, empowering anyone to engage with the fibre arts community. With each library containing unique surprises, they invite both beginners and seasoned crafters to share, create, and connect through the love of fibre arts.
Flatz Fibre Library
The Flatz Fibre Library is a free fibre library and knit group that provides low barrier access to fibre arts. The library is located in the Emily Carr University Library. They operate on a take what you need, leave what you can system. The founders host monthly knit nights that are open to students and the public.
This project has been a true effort of community building to connect the emerging fibre artists at their school with the larger Vancouver fibre arts community. The team behind Flatz Fibre Library hope they can inspire others to start their own knitting groups.

The Crafty Jackalope
The Crafty Jackalope was founded by Amanda Kaffka, who has been knitting since she was six, when she first learned using Arbutus twigs for needles. With a fashion design degree from Ryerson University, Amanda brings her love of knitwear design to life through her creative and playful kits. Known for her passion for sparkles, sequins, and everything that glitters, Amanda’s creations bring a touch of magic to every project. The Crafty Jackalope offers a curated selection of knitting and crochet patterns, kits, needles, and accessories, making it a vibrant hub for makers who love a little (or a lot of) bling in their projects.

Woolwerx Fibre Arts Studio
Woolwerx is a social enterprise by the Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver, providing training and employment to women transitioning from the legal system, homelessness, and substance use challenges. Based in New Westminster, Woolwerx takes donated wool from BC farms and transforms it into high-quality handspun yarns, felted dryer balls, and Wonder Wool Pellets, a 100% wool fertilizer. This unique initiative helps women gain valuable job skills and build sustainable futures.
Woolwerx operates as a 100% waste-free business, ensuring that all materials are repurposed for creative and sustainable use. Slan Baby is the creative outlet of Arinn, a fibre artist with a deep-rooted passion for textile art and ancient techniques. With a background in archaeology and years of hands-on experience, Arinn began hand-dyeing baby clothes during the early days of the pandemic for her grandchild. What started as a personal project soon grew into a full-fledged business, focused on vibrant, hand-dyed yarn and custom colorways. Known for the signature Happy Monsters design, Slan Baby offers a whimsical touch to each creation. Arinn’s journey from baby clothes to yarn reflects a love for creativity and connection, and Slan Baby is thrilled to make its debut at the XOXO Fibre event.​​

Tufted with Love is a female-owned small business founded by mother-daughter duo Lina and Leen, nestled in Fraser Heights, Surrey, BC. With over five years of experience, they are passionate about sharing the joy of rug tufting with the community. Their cozy studio offers a welcoming space where anyone, from beginners to seasoned crafters, can explore their creativity. Tufted with Love provides all the supplies and expert guidance you need to bring your design dreams to life—whether it’s your first rug or your next masterpiece. Lina and Leen believe that art should be accessible to everyone, and tufting offers a fun, hands-on way to dive into the creative process without needing prior experience. Sweet Dreams by Kiki is owned and operated by Keri-Lee, a talented Cree and Ojibway artist from Whitebear First Nation, Saskatchewan. Specializing in handmade beaded goods, Keri-Lee creates intricate earrings and other beautifully crafted pieces that reflect her rich cultural heritage. In addition to her beaded items, she also weaves items for cultural purposes and takes on commissioned work, sharing her artistry and traditions with a wider community.​​

Silver Harbour Seniors Activity Centre
Silver Harbour Seniors Activity Centre is dedicated to fostering a community that honors and celebrates aging. Since its inception, the Centre has provided adults aged 55+ with enriching social, creative, physical, and learning opportunities in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Rooted in collaboration and community spirit, Silver Harbour offers a wide range of programs to support seniors in staying active, connected, and engaged.
The Centre’s journey began in February 1968 when a group of local seniors, alongside the then-Mayor of North Vancouver, recognized the need for a multi-service space on the North Shore. Through the tireless efforts of volunteers, countless planning meetings, and a shared vision, Silver Harbour officially opened its doors on September 22, 1973. Since then, it has continued to be a vital part of the community, offering a place where seniors can thrive and build meaningful connections.​​

The Greater Vancouver Spinners and Weavers’ Guild has been a cornerstone of the fibre arts community since 1935, with members from across the Greater Vancouver area. The Guild is dedicated to promoting, encouraging, and advancing the art of weaving and spinning. Through shared knowledge, skills, and ideas, members foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes the pursuit of excellence in all their work. The Guild also maintains a collection of literature and materials on weaving, spinning, and dyeing, accessible to all members, supporting both tradition and innovation in the fibre arts.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in spinning, weaving, or related fibre arts, and new members are warmly welcomed. The Guild offers a variety of rental equipment to members and has a well-stocked library with over 900 recent and historical books, journals, and DVDs on textile arts, including weaving, spinning, dyeing, and knitting.
Aster & Vine
​Aster and Vine is a sustainable, small business that creates macramé and stringcraft kits using recycled cotton rope, sourced from fabric offcuts rescued from clothing factories. Founded by owner Danielle, Aster and Vine combines eco-consciousness with creativity, offering a wide range of macramé kits, accessories, and supplies.
Danielle is passionate about crafting and sustainability, and Aster and Vine’s mission is to make it easy for others to explore their creativity while minimizing environmental impact. MorganMadeCanada
Jacquie, the artist behind MorganMade Canada, lives in North Vancouver and has always been inspired by the natural world, particularly trees and forests. Her journey began with watercolour painting, but her passion for textures led her to explore the world of natural dyes and fibres.
